Meet, watch & present

The Meeting Hall is your own room inside the world — book it, invite people, and share your screen on the big wall. Here's how to gather your group and get a session going.

What is the Meeting Hall?

The Meeting Hall is a bookable room inside the world where a small group can gather privately — with voice and screen-share among the people in the room.

What can I use it for?
Anything that brings a small group together — a meetup, a call, a watch-party or a working session. Book the room, invite your people, and you have a space of your own inside the world.
Who can hear and see what happens in the room?
It's a private room — the voice and the screen-share are shared among the people in the room with you, and no one else.
What can I do once I'm inside?
Talk with voice, and share your screen on the big wall so everyone in the room can follow along.

Booking a room

To book the Meeting Hall, walk over to it in the world and use the booking panel at its door. Be signed in so the booking is tied to your account.

How do I book the room?
Walk to the Meeting Hall in the world and use the booking panel at its door. From there you can book it now or schedule a time.
Can I book it for later, or only right now?
Either. You can book it now for an instant session, or schedule a time ahead. Arrive at your time and the room is yours.
Do I need to be signed in to book?
Yes — be signed inso the booking is tied to your account. If you're not signed in yet, you can Sign in or Create an account first.

Inviting people

Once you've booked the room, invite people to join you in it for the session.

How do I get people to join me?
Once you've booked, invite people to join you in the room for the session.
Do I have to book before I can invite?
Yes — book the room first, then invite people to join you in it. The booking is what gives you the room to bring them into.

Sharing your screen

During a live meeting you can share your screen onto the big wall screen for everyone in the room.

How do I put my screen on the big wall?
During a live meeting, share your screen onto the big wall screen so everyone in the room can see it.
The wall is far away — can I read it from my seat?
Yes — a viewer can pop out a close-up to read the screen while seated, without having to stand right at the wall.
Will people hear my screen's audio, and can I still talk?
Both. Your screen's audio is shared too, and your mic stays on— so you can narrate over whatever you're showing.

Booking or screen-share looks inert

If booking or screen-share doesn't seem to do anything, it's almost always because you're not signed in, or you're not yet inside a booked meeting.

The booking panel won't let me book — why?
Booking needs you to be signed in. Sign in and try again from inside the hall. If you're still stuck, contact us.
Screen-share isn't doing anything — what's wrong?
Screen-share is only active inside a booked meeting, and it needs you to be signed in. Sign in, get into your booked meeting, and try again. If it still won't work, contact us.
