Moving around the world

Whether you're on a laptop, a phone or in a VR headset, getting around the Nyzaverse is quick to pick up. Here's how to walk, look, jump, fast-travel across the map, and join in with everything there is to sit on, ride and play with.

On a computer

Everything is built around your keyboard and mouse, so you can walk, look and interact without ever leaving the keys. Nothing to memorise — a few minutes in and it'll feel natural.

How do I walk and look around?
Use WASD or the arrow keysto walk — movement is camera-relative, so "forward" always means the way you're facing. Drag the mouse to look around, and scroll to zoom the camera in and out.
How do I run or jump?
Hold Shift while you walk to sprint. Press Space to jump — and tap it again mid-air to double-jump for a little extra height.
Is there a way to just click where I want to go?
Yes — click the ground anywhere and your avatar auto-walks to that spot, so you can keep exploring without holding a key down. Any movement key takes back manual control whenever you want it.
How do I interact with things?
Walk up to a poster, cabinet, door or vendor and press E— or click the on-screen prompt that appears — to interact with it. The prompt only shows when you're close enough, so just step nearer if you don't see it yet.

On a phone or tablet

On touch devices the controls come to your thumbs — a joystick for walking, a drag area for looking, and a dedicated jump button — so the whole world is playable one-handed or two.

How do I walk on a touchscreen?
An on-screen joystick sits in the bottom-left corner — slide your thumb on it to walk in any direction. You can also simply tap the ground to auto-walk to that spot.
How do I look around and jump?
Drag a finger anywhere on the right side of the screen to look around, and tap the JUMP button in the bottom-right corner to hop. The two work together, so you can steer and look at the same time.
Any tips for a better view on mobile?
Turn your phone sideways (landscape) for a wider, more cinematic view — it gives you more room to see the world and keeps the controls comfortably out at the edges.

In VR

The Nyzaverse is VR-ready out of the box — the very same world, walked in first person, with no separate app to download.

How do I enter VR?
The world is VR-ready over WebXR. Open /play in your headset's browser and tap Enter VR. There's no separate app to install — it runs right in the headset's browser.
How do I move while in VR?
You walk the same world in first person, with smooth-move to glide, snap-turn to rotate in comfortable steps, and teleport to hop across longer distances.
I don't see an Enter VR option
If the option doesn't appear, your headset's browser may not support WebXR. Make sure the browser is up to date — and you can always explore the same world on a phone or computer in the meantime.

The map & fast travel

When you want to get somewhere quickly, the map turns any spot in the world into a single tap — no long walks required.

How do I open the map?
Tap the 🗺 map button to open the big map. A small mini-map also stays tucked in the corner the whole time, so you always know roughly where you are.
How does fast travel work?
On the big map, click anywhere and your avatar auto-walks there — and if the spot is far away, it auto-runs to get you there faster.
Can I stop travelling partway?
Of course — any key or tap cancels travel and hands control straight back to you, so you can change your mind or stop to look at something the moment it catches your eye.

Sit, ride, emote & play

The world is full of little things to do beyond walking — places to sit, things to ride, ways to wave hello, and even a ball to kick about.

Can I sit down somewhere?
Click a bench, one of the amphitheater tiers or a picnic rug and your avatar sits down — perfect for settling in to watch a show or just hang out with people nearby.
What can I ride?
Click a swing to ride it, and step onto the Ferris wheel to board and take a slow turn for the view from the top.
How do I emote?
Press the number keys 1–4 to fire off quick emotes, and open the emote tray for the full set when you want more to choose from.
Is there anything to actually play with?
Yes — there's a real football on the pitch that you can run into and kick around with whoever else is there. Want to talk while you play? See Audio & voice.
